Run/Walk for Autism 5K is VIA's most popular, community-oriented event for raising awareness and funds for compassionate, effective autism services in our region. Where / When is the race?

  • In-Person: Saturday, April 15 at Charlottesville High School- 1400 Melbourne Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901
  • Virtual: Anywhere, anytime on April 15.  

Can I rejoin my team from last year?
Sorry, this year you will have to recreate your team. Once it is created, it is easy to invite others to join. 

Can I get detailed directions to the race site?

Directions will be emailed shortly before race day.

How do I pick up my race packet?
Packet pick-up will be at VIA's Center for Adolescent and Adult Autism Services (CAAAS) during the following times:

491 Hillsdale Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901

Thursday, April 13th from 4-6 PM

Friday, April 14th from 9 AM - 12 PM

Can I register on the day of the race? 
You can register on-site. It is $25 for the kids' race and $50 for the 5K if you register the morning of the event. Register online by April 14th and save $10 per registration!

Are there any volunteering opportunities?
Yes! This event is not possible without the support of our amazing volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Rebecca Ellison at rellison@viacenters.org.
