Event: Welcome Home Plants Inc 5k Walk/Run
Check-In: Check-in starts at 7:30 AM, where participants can pick up their race packets, plants, and flowers.
Group Warm-Up: Join us for a group warm-up at 8:45 AM to get those muscles ready for the fun ahead! The first wave of runners will start at 9:00 AM, followed by the second wave at 9:10 AM, the next wave at 9:20 AM, and the final wave at 9:30 AM.
Race Route: The race will start on Broadway/Kent and make its way to Bushwick Inlet Park, up and over into Greenpoint, with a scenic lap in McCarren Park before finishing on Berry St open street.
Activations at Start Line: At the start line, we'll have an electrifying DJ spinning tunes to keep the energy high as you prepare to embark on your 5K journey!
Costume Contest: Don't forget to dress up in your most creative plant-themed costumes for a chance to win prizes in our costume contest! Whether you're a blooming flower, a majestic tree, or a quirky succulent, show off your green spirit and join the fun!
Vendor Village and After-Party: After the race, be sure to visit our Vendor Village along Berry Street open street for refreshments, rewards, and goodie bags. The race route will be closed no later than 11:00 AM. Same-day registration will be allowed while supplies last.
Raffles: Don't forget to buy raffle tickets to win prizes from our amazing sponsors!
