Donate to the Knoxville Track Club
The Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon is owned and operated by the Knoxville Track Club (KTC). KTC plays an important role in the East Tennessee Community, hosting more than a dozen road races, a dozen trail races via the Treadin' Trodden Trail Race Series, and one of the largest high school track & field meets in the country (Volunteer Track Classic). KTC operates a group training program RunKNOX, is involved with our area youth through kids runs at many of our events, and hosts community service projects each year.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization ourselves, we are always seeking funding to expand our mission of Encouraging Life-Long Physical Well-Being through Running and Walking.
Additionally, the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon partners with other area non-profits each year. A portion of our proceeds are donated to Patricia Neal Innovative Recreation Cooperative. Patricia Neal Innovative Recreation Cooperative (IRC) was created in 1994 to meet the needs of individuals who have suffered a life-changing illness or injury in East Tennessee. The program was designed to be a part of the continuum of care in the rehabilitation process. IRC assists with the wheelchair and handcycle participants on marathon weekend.
Finally, a portion of proceeds will be donated to our 2025 Community Contribution Partner, who will be determined in the summer of 2024. Past partners include Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, Emerald Youth Foundation, Girls on the Run of Greater Knoxville, Knox County Schools, Keep Knoxville Beautiful, Legacy Parks Foundation, YWCA, Appalachian Mountain Bike Club, Ijams Nature Center, Young-Williams Animal Center, Survivor Fitness Foundation, and East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
