Description
Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) is a big fancy word for a brain stem tumor. This is an inoperable tumor that can easily go undetected. To help fund the research and help create the awareness, we are celebrating in conjunction with the Zombies for an 8k like no other!
Dress as your favorite zombie or just bring your brain to run this greenway 8k along the river greenway starting at 4301 Amnicola Hwy., Chattanooga, TN 37406. Who knows, you might even see some real life zombies!
The festivities begin February 11th at 2pm for the 8k and the walk leaving shortly after. The route goes out on the riverfront greenway. The link with a map will be published soon!
Prizes will be awarded for Top 3 overall male and female, Top Masters Male and Female (1 deep), Top 3 Age Groups 10 and Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
