Community Table is a Colorado nonprofit 501 c (3) corporation formed in 1982 by Inter-Church ARMS (Arvada Resources for Mind and Spirit) to serve the needy and vulnerable in our community.
Our goal is to secure the resources (food, financial, physical, and volunteers) necessary to provide programs to help meet the nutritional needs of qualifying community members.
From the beginning, Community Table has worked with city government, churches, schools, civic organizations, businesses and private citizens to ensure that the residents of Arvada and surrounding communities would have a place to go for emergency food."
$25 provides a complete Thanksgiving meal for a family
$25 provides the Bridges to Opportunity program RTD bus passes for clients needing transportation on their path to self-sufficiency
$50 provides a Bridges to Opportunity GED client with program study materials, eight weeks (or more) of instructional time, and one testing site fee
$120 provides weekend food for one child for one school year in the “Backpack” program
$150 provides a Bridges to Opportunity client with a complete GED testing package and the education needed to take the next step in finding employment
$250 provides fresh fruits and vegetables for one month of a Mobile Pantry site
