Miles for Moms 5K

The 13th Annual Miles for Moms 5K Run/Walk is Florence Crittenton Services second largest signature fundraiser with over 500 participants and $75,000 raised in support of teen mothers and their children.

Florence Crittenton Services is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization celebrating 125 years of service to teen mothers and their children in Metro Denver. Through our public-private partnership with Denver Public Schools, we provide a two-generation approach to educating, preparing, and empowering teen mothers and their children to become productive members of the community.

Last year, Florence Crittenton Services positively impacted 226 teen moms, 184 children, and over 200 young fathers and extended family members who influence the success of teen moms and their children. Our programs include: Florence Crittenton High School, Early Childhood Education Center, Mental Health and Family Resource Center, and the Alethia E. Morgan, MD Health Center.
This comprehensive, holistic model results in more than doubling the national average for teen mothers who complete high school under the age of 18 from 38% to 89%. Among our graduates, 60% will be the first in their families to complete high school.

Join us for our 13th Annual Miles for Moms 5K Run/Walk to make a difference in the lives of our teen families.

Each participant will receive a free t-shirt, optional race bib and timing chip, goody bag, snacks, and access to all event activities. Fun and engaging activities for the whole family include face painting, pumpkin decorating, balloon animals, and more! Prizes for the largest team, most funds raised by individual and team, individual and team with the best costume, and top finishers.

Ages 6-12 $25 Registration fee
Ages 13 and older $35 Registration fee
